The AT005 is an ultra-compact aluminum enclosure measuring 50 × 40 × L mm (1.97" × 1.57" × L"). It is built from extruded aluminum construction with a slide-in body and machined end panels, and it suits engineers who need a pocket-sized housing that can be machined, finished and branded to match a specific product design. Length is cut to order, so the same profile can serve several product sizes without a new mould. Because the profile comes from PUMAY's library of more than 1,000 existing moulds, no tooling fee is charged and a machined sample can be ready in about seven days.

Can the AT005 be cut to a custom length?

Yes. Length is the easiest dimension to change on an extrusion - tell us the finished length and we cut and machine the section accordingly.

Is there a tooling or mould charge?

No. AT005 is produced from a mould that already exists in PUMAY's inventory, so no tooling fee is charged. You only pay for material, machining, finishing and freight.

Can the AT005 be made water-resistant?

Yes. With a gasket groove, sealed end panels, sealed cable glands and an appropriate IP-rated connector selection, the enclosure can be built to IP65, IP67 or IP68. Tell us the target IP level and the intended environment and we will confirm the sealing method.

What is the minimum order quantity?

One piece for a sample so you can check fit and finish, and 50 pieces for mass production. Larger quantities are quoted with volume pricing.
